This guide contains three major sections to introduce you to global education and to support you in implementing global education in your classroom.

1. Study - this section will provide you with lots of resources about global education and help to answer the following questions:
  • What is global education?
  • Why is global education important?
  • Am I globally competent?
  • Are my students globally competent?
  • Where is my school at in terms of globalizing the curriculum?
  • What role does technology play in a globalized curriculum?

2. Teach - this section provides you with resources on how to globalize your teaching and build your own global competence.  Resources include:
  •  Two sample lessons.
  • Information about using the Unit by Design protocol.
  • How to globalize your standards.
  • Community resources to support you and your students.
  • Opportunities for global travel.

3. Travel - this section is about my travels to West Africa as part of my TGC Fellowship.  You can find:
  • Information about Senegal
  • A link to my travel blog.
  • A link to my research question and essay.
